Consumers expect their home service professionals to be up to date with the latest technology — and service pros agree that doing so is a boon for business. That’s according to a recent survey of more than 1,000 consumers and more than 500 service professionals in five industries, including HVAC and construction. Nine in 10 HVAC pros surveyed by Verizon Telematics and KRC Research said using mobile tools like a phone, tablet, or laptop boosted productivity and seven in 10 pros across all industries said their use of mobile contributed to more sales.
